Designed for ease of living over a bigger footprint rather than multiple levels Meadow house is set on a large erf, with a roofed area of 650m2.
The main living area is open plan, with minimal structural allowance to support the monolithic concrete roof slab. Thus, the design was challenging and required close communications with the structural engineers and fine attention to detail.
The design allows for discreet spaces which still feel open to the surrounding landscaped gardens.
